The Courageous Steps Project, is a 501(c) non-profit organization striving to help children and young adults with various abilities and challenges in Eastern Maine (specifically Hancock and Penobscot countiesSince 2014, when the organization was founded under founder Connor Archer when he was a student at Old Town High School, The Courageous Steps Project has channeled resources to 35+ programs in Eastern Maine through it’s initiatives of monetary giving, and building awareness of developmental challenges by collaborating with other organizations and schools on awareness projects. In July of 2016, the organization became an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization, allowing us to expand more initiatives with the focus of enhancing opportunities for children and young adults living with developmental challenges all over Eastern Maine and in other communities of Maine. We are continuing to grow our mission and vision because of you, and we hope that you help us continue that growth in the future. There are many ways to get involved as a member, sponsor, supporter, or volunteer. Learn more by visiting our website at: www.thecourageousstepsproject.org.
