Job Summary

Own and drive the firm’s marketing program across digital presence, content creation, and events, while coordinating with attorneys and management to publish alerts, update materials, and pursue rankings and client development.

  • Lead website, social media, analytics, and materials to strengthen the firm’s online profile and business development.
  • Collaborate with management and attorneys to publish news, alerts, and events and to pursue rankings and client-facing pitches.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and regularly update firm’s website by, among other things, coordinating with firm attorneys to gather and develop content.
  • Manage and regularly update firm’s social media presence and facilitate and coordinate social media posts by firm attorneys.
  • Monitor website traffic/online analytics, report to management on a monthly basis, and work with management to enhance firm’s online presence.
  • Prepare and regularly update firm, practice area, and attorney marketing materials.
  • Assist firm attorneys with the publication and wide circulation of legal alerts and firm news items (lawyers joining the firm, significant cases and outcomes, speaking engagements, publications, etc.).
  • Organize and widely publicize firm receptions, webinars, and speaking engagements in coordination with firm attorneys.
  • Assist firm attorneys and practice areas with submitting applications for chambers and other professional rankings.
  • Support firm attorneys with client pitch materials and business development efforts.
  • Liaise with firm’s outside marketing consultant.
  • Help devise, and support firm management and attorneys with respect to strategic marketing plans and business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • College degree with strong academic credentials.
  • Prior marketing experience in the service industry required. Prior experience working as a marketing professional at a law firm is helpful but not required.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines .
  • High level of responsibility and initiative required.
  • Strong and effective team player in working with firm management, partners, other lawyers, and staff .
  • Computer and internet proficiency.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, including Word, SharePoint, and Outlook.
