Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Client relationship management: Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact. This involves managing expectations, responding to client feedback, and building long-term trust to ensure client retention.
  • Strategic liaison: Translate complex client goals into actionable creative briefs for internal teams (designers, copywriters, and developers) to ensure work remains aligned with the client’s vision.
  • Project coordination: Oversee campaign timelines and internal workflows to ensure projects are delivered on time and within the agreed-upon scope.
  • Performance monitoring and reporting: Track key performance indicators via Google Analytics and other tools. Report on ROI, conversion rates, and engagement. Prepare and present reports to clients, providing data-driven insights to optimize.
  • Account growth: Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts by proposing new services or marketing solutions that solve emerging client challenges.
  • Financial Oversight: Work closely with the CEO to manage client budgets and provide cost estimates.
  • New business: Work with the CEO to prepare proposals for new business opportunities.
  • Brand building: Support Powerhouse Group social channels and represent Powerhouse Group at local networking events.

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of marketing and/or agency experience, previously serving as an Assistant Account Coordinator, Account Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, or Marketing Manager at a marketing, creative, or communications agency.
  • You’ve done this type of job before and can hit the ground running.
  • You have meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership - things don’t slip through the cracks with you.
  • You have a genuine “get it done” attitude and stay calm and effective when priorities change.
  • You’re adaptable, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple projects and clients.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal skills.
  • You like to learn and grow.

Preferred

  • You’re based in or near New York City and available for in-person meetings when needed.
  • You’re proficient in digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Business, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, SEO tools).
