Job Summary

Drive global community event marketing and program execution to grow attendance and engagement.

  • Own end-to-end event campaigns and playbooks for global community programs.
  • Must-have: 3–5 years in event or community-focused marketing with hands-on execution.
  • Standout: Experience scaling programs across cohorts with cross-functional collaboration.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Execute growth strategies across community-led programs and events: Partner with Program Managers to increase attendance, engagement, and retention - including creative approaches to drive participation across live, virtual, and global events.
  • Build scalable playbooks and campaigns: Create repeatable frameworks that enable event hosts to promote events effectively.
  • Own event topic development and content strategy for a global community audience: Develop resources and guidance that empower community leaders and instructors to execute high-quality, on-brand experiences with minimal hand-holding. Proactively identify and connect facilitators and speakers who drive meaningful participation.
  • Optimize the registration and engagement funnel: Identify and act on opportunities to improve conversion from registration → attendance → repeat participation.
  • Analyze performance and deliver actionable insights: Keep program data clean, contribute to regular reporting, and proactively flag trends, translating metrics (registration, attendance, email performance) into clear recommendations.
  • Support execution of large-scale programs: Coordinate campaigns, timelines, and readiness across cohorts to ensure successful launches.
  • Improve processes and drive operational efficiency: Identify and document opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual work, and maintain consistency across communications and community touchpoints.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing or community, with a focus on event marketing, field marketing, or community programs.
  • Strong community instincts: you understand community dynamics, can identify engaged members with potential to contribute, and know how to creatively drive attendance and retention in authentic ways.
  • Proven ability to execute marketing campaigns end-to-end: from planning through launch, optimization, and reporting.
  • Strong marketing fundamentals, including segmentation, lifecycle campaigns, A/B testing, and deliverability best practices. Experience with event or community platforms (e.g., Hivebrite, Bevy).
  • Comfortable working with data: pull reports, interpret performance, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Experience supporting or growing community-based programs is a strong plus.
  • Ability to simplify and scale: turn complex programs into repeatable marketing approaches.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organized with a process-oriented mindset: manage multiple priorities, document workflows, and maintain operational consistency across scaled programs.
  • Self-starter with a bias toward action and ownership.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work across teams as priorities evolve.

Preferred

  • Experience with scaled customer education programs, bootcamps, or professional certification marketing
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or SaaS community-led growth marketing
  • Experience with volunteer or chapter-based community structures (e.g., user groups, alumni networks)
