Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications to develop comprehensive marketing plans and timelines for BGS conferences, webinars, alumni events, virtual networking sessions, and various programs.
  • Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, website content, social media, paid advertising, and digital promotions.
  • Write and edit compelling marketing copy tailored to students, alumni, faculty, deans, corporate and education partners, and other audiences.
  • Build and maintain program landing pages, registration forms, surveys, and event webpages.
  • Coordinate with internal staff and alumni chapters to create and send alumni event messages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing materials.
  • Conduct audience research and segmentation to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Analyze campaign performance, including email engagement, website traffic, registration trends, attendance, and conversion metrics.
  • Develop post-event reports with actionable recommendations to improve future marketing efforts.
  • Identify, research, and qualify new corporate, nonprofit, and university partnership opportunities aligned with the BGS mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, business development, partnership development, sponsorship sales, communications, or related fields.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting and editing abilities.
  • Experience creating and executing email marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing website content and landing pages.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Analytical mindset with experience evaluating campaign performance and marketing metrics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred

  • Experience with marketing automation software such as ClickDimensions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working with nonprofit, higher education, or membership organizations.
  • Experience managing sponsorships or business development initiatives.
  • Knowledge of project management platforms such as Basecamp.

  • Paid Time Off: BGS employees can accrue 20 days of PTO during their first year of employment. This will increase to 30 days of PTO once an employee has reached 5 or more years with the organization.
  • 403(b) Retirement Plan: BGS will match any 5% contribution to this plan at 7.5% after one year of employment.
