Own the influencer relations and consumer insights program, guiding strategy, content management, and cross-functional amplification across paid and earned media; requires strong influencer metrics proficiency and beauty industry passion.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Consumer Insights & Strategy: Drive consumer A&I communication strategies, lead strategic program planning, and pitch creative, viral-worthy activation concepts.
  • Influencer & Talent Lifecycle Management: Lead the end-to-end influencer engagement strategy. This includes sourcing, vetting, and negotiating contracts (partnering with our agency of record), managing onboarding/payments, and tracking content approvals to ensure alignment with brand identity and legal compliance.
  • Professional Advocacy Advocacy & Content Management: Direct the daily social content pipeline from both professional hair ambassadors and consumer creators. Author clear, actionable creative briefs and optimize content editing to maximize engagement and ensure social commerce best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Paid Amplification: Partner closely with internal Marketing, Media, and Digital teams to identify high-performing organic content to amplify via paid media funnels.
  • Data, Reporting & Social Listening: Utilize influencer measurement tools (e.g., Traackr, Sprinklr) to track, analyze, and report on key campaign KPIs (Share of Influence, EMV, engagement rates), turning raw metrics into strategic recommendations for future launches.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead agency partners and coordinate seamlessly with PR, Event, and Education teams. Manage product mailer fulfillment, support large-scale industry events, and oversee the A&I budget tracker.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience managing influencer relations, PR, or social media platforms—ideally in the beauty, fashion, or professional salon/haircare sectors.
  • Analytical Rigor: A strong mastery of influencer metrics and tracking platforms (Traackr, CreatorIQ, or Sprinklr).
  • Industry Connection: Authentic passion for the beauty space; active daily on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, with a keen eye for rising beauty tech and haircare trends.
  • Communications & Influence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to cultivate trust and long-term relationships with artists, creators, and agency partners.
  • Agility & Drive: A self-motivated, organized multi-tasker who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced, highly collaborative corporate environment.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary Range: $98,400 - $140,200 (Exact compensation will be determined based on specific experience, skills, and qualifications).
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Outstanding health, dental, and vision insurance packages, 401(k) matching, and a corporate Pension Plan.
  • Work-Life Balance: Hybrid work model, flexible paid time off (FTO), paid company holidays, Vacation Buy Program, and our highly anticipated Summer Fridays.
  • Exclusive Company Perks: VIP access to the L’Oréal Employee Shop (heavily discounted products), monthly mobile allowance, wellness stipends, and continuous learning opportunities via our global L'Oréal Up platform.
  • Inclusive Community: Active Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), innovation think-tanks, and access to world-class mental health support systems.
