Job Description

Responsibilities
  • The Communications Manager plays a key role in developing and executing MAD’s communications and marketing strategies.
  • This position is ideal for a communications professional with strong writing, graphic design, digital media, and project management skills who is ready to take on strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration.
  • The Communications Manager will work closely with MAD leadership and stakeholders across MIT to ensure consistent, compelling messaging that reflects MAD’s mission and values.
Requirements
  • Strong expertise in content creation, including writing, editing, and storytelling
  • Demonstrated graphic design skills and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Experience managing websites using CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal, WordPress).
  • Experience managing social media platforms and tools (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Hootsuite/Buffer).
  • Proven ability to use analytics to guide strategy and report outcomes.
  • Konwledge of design, innovation, or academic environments is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
