Job Description

Responsibilities

  • This role serves as the primary subject matter expert for acquisition marketing strategy across DISH TV and Sling TV, focusing on the high-level, hands-on orchestration of a complex paid media ecosystem.
  • You will solve the challenge of balancing diverse tactics—including OTT, Search, Social, and Affiliate channels—to acquire net-new profitable subscribers at an optimal cost.
  • As a high-impact individual contributor supporting the Head of Media, this position ensures that integrated media projects are executed with precision to drive sustainable, long-term growth.
  • Drive the strategic acquisition of DISH and Sling subscribers across all paid product lines with a singular focus on net-new, profitable growth
  • Support the development of annual and quarterly media budgets by providing data-backed evaluations of channel performance to lower acquisition costs
  • Execute the deployment of multi-channel campaigns, including broadcast and performance digital, ensuring a unified and effective market presence through rigorous project management
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Brand, Finance, and MarTech to align media tactics with product roadmaps and financial targets
  • Optimize the total media mix by leveraging econometric modeling and incrementality testing to improve overall business health and return on investment
  • Apply AI-driven capabilities like DCO and personalization to translate performance data into high-converting creative strategies that maximize ROMI

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university or equivalent combination of education and experience (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum Experience: 8+ years of experience leading cross-functional media or marketing campaigns in high-velocity, results-driven environments
  • Required Technical Skills: Direct, hands-on experience with:
  • Key marketing platforms (Google Search, Bing, META, major DSPs)
  • Attribution and ad-serving partners (e.g., Kochava, Impact, Flashtalking)
  • Econometric modeling (MMM) and incrementality testing frameworks
  • Visa sponsorship not available for this role

Preferred

  • MBA preferred
  • Experience in growing subscriber bases for entertainment or subscription-based businesses with an emphasis on profitable acquisition costs
