Responsibilities

  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, broadening your career perspective, and building your network.
  • Collaborate across all stages of a project, from concept to completion.
  • Gain project management experience by actively participating in and supporting key initiatives.
  • Create a variety of communications products such as emails, flyers, or stories that are aligned to Emory’s mission.
  • Enhance your skills in strategic communications, content creation, and editing while contributing to meaningful projects.
  • Develop evaluation skills using quantitative and qualitative data related to employee communications.
  • Strengthen leadership skills through the development of recommendations for departmental process improvements.

Requirements

  • Available for 20 hours each week during the summer 2026 semester.
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree (B.S., B.A., M.A., or M.S.) with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing and presenting.
  • Strong relationship-building and client service skills.
  • A detail-oriented and organized approach to tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • A positive and professional attitude.

Preferred

  • Experience with graphic design, project management, and content management software is a plus.
