Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Data-Driven EMP Strategy: Design and execute a central KPI framework that evaluates and monitors editorial performance both from an artist perspective and at a DSP local and global level.
  • Build and develop a mapping of Believe’s artists and catalogs matched with the most relevant and impactful EMP opportunities across DSPs
  • Set EMP KPIs that are reflective of DSP market share, streaming targets/ impact, the lifecycle of a release and benchmarks for artist uses cases
  • Working with product teams, set necessary roadmaps to develop current pitching tools, selection process, data sources for tracks/albums, with an objective to optimize for results and externalization
  • Working with marketing teams, develop EMP’s role and sequencing with other marketing levers to maximize impact, creating best practices for genres and artist use cases
  • Work closely with data teams to support measurement, automation and scalability, introducing an ROI lens to EMP efforts. Evaluate effectiveness of current EMP local resourcing and performance
  • Translate expertise into clear playbooks, narratives and GTM materials for both internal teams and clients
  • Global DSP Relationship Building: Build and develop relationships with Editorial & Marketing teams at DSPs at a global level to maximize opportunities for Believe artists at a commercial level
  • Monitor and benchmark Believe’s allocation of editorial and marketing placements per DSP to inform and participate in Believe’s marketing asks during licensing negotiations, as well as advocating for Believe artists systematically
  • Be close to DSP strategy to best position and pitch Believe artists for global marketing opportunities, that arise both seasonally and opportunistically, from digital opportunities to OOH

Requirements

  • 15+ Years senior experience in strategic marketing and operations, with deep knowledge of DSP ecosystems and digital music growth levers
  • Strong Business, Product and Data mindset, focused on value creation and performance targets
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams in dynamic environments
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels
