Job Summary

Lead and scale Natixis IM content across channels, aligning editorial strategy with brand, product, and distribution while governing standards, workflows, and AI-enabled formats to improve reach, personalization, and efficiency.

  • Own multi-channel content strategy and calendar, unifying Brand, Product, and Investment teams into a cohesive editorial plan.
  • Direct production of market commentary, thought leadership, client education, and product materials across formats.
  • Establish governance, standards, and efficiency via briefs, reviews, AI-enabled creation, and data-driven optimization to maximize impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a proactive, multi-channel content strategy and calendar through a cohesive editorial vision that aligns and synthesizes brand, product and distribution priorities. As needed, ensure that the U.S. content strategy and calendar is aligned with other content creators (e.g. outside the U.S. and in Public Relations).
  • Direct the production of high-quality content across channels. This includes market commentary, investment insights, thought leadership, client education, product-related materials, advertising, etc.
  • Develop and implement a shared strategy and hierarchy for content produced by other business units (Sales, Product, Investment Strategists, etc.). Evangelize the content strategy within and without the Marketing department.
  • Establish and lead editorial standards, style guidelines, compliance guidelines, etc. Advocate for consistency and clarity in Natixis IM communications.
  • Lead all aspects of governance of content workflows and processes, including briefs, reviews and approvals.
  • Leverage data, analytics, SEO/AEO strategies and audience insights to optimize content effectiveness and discoverability.
  • Drive innovation in content formats, including video, social, digital experiences and in AI-enhanced content creation workflows. Ensure that content creation contemplates and supports digital efforts to deliver personalization at scale. This includes alignment of content production workflows with new tools and approaches increasing efficiency and impact.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive content strategies, regulatory developments, and emerging platforms.
  • Lead and mentor a team of experienced content creators with varying content assignments. This includes oversight of external resources and related budget.
  • Evaluate and/or implement technologies and platforms (such as AI) which can result in more efficient content creation and better optimize and personalize content for recipients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in editorial leadership, content strategy, and/or digital content development with a strong preference for asset management industry experience.
  • Deep understanding of the financial markets, investment products, economic concepts and a proven ability to translate complex ideas into content suitable for a range of audiences with varying levels of investment sophistication.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling ability across formats and audiences to create compelling and engaging content.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and Compliance requirements which can impact content creation and the ability to partner with Compliance to address comments and concerns.
  • Experience partnering with senior executives, investment professionals and other cross-functional colleagues to deliver results.
  • Expertise with content management systems, digital publishing and marketing software/technology (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Workfront, Seismic, Saifr, etc.). Comfort and interest in emerging technologies, including AI-enhanced content tools.
  • Strong executive presence, interpersonal skills and an ability to influence and reach consensus. Strong emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
