Responsibilities

    Medidata is looking for a storyteller with a growth mindset. We are looking for an exceptional writer and aspiring marketer to help define how we speak to the life sciences industry. In this role, you will blend the art of compelling copywriting with the science of data-driven demand generation to drive real business impact. In partnership with the Growth marketing leads: - Master the Message: Draft, edit, and optimize high-impact copy for email nurture tracks, blogs, case studies, landing pages, and digital ads. Contribute to landing page creation and A/B testing to enhance conversion rates for demand generation campaigns. - Drive Multi-Channel Growth: Collaborate with growth on the paid media plans to support tests of our message and how they are performing by channel (e.g. Google Ads, direct channels) aiding to determine what messages are resonating by audience. - Leverage Next-Gen Tech: Utilize Generative AI and LLMs to accelerate content creation, iterate on messaging variations, and build productivity workflows that keep the team moving fast. - Analyze & Optimize: Work with Growth Marketers to analyze campaign data, dissect A/B test results from landing pages, and generate actionable insights to refine our messaging. Leverage marketing automation tools (e.g., Eloqua) and our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Salesforce) to manage leads and track campaign performance. - Competitive Intelligence: Observe industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies in the clinical trials space.—tracking competitor strategies and emerging trends share insights to influence messaging to ensure Medidata remains distinct and compelling.

Requirements

    Currently pursuing an MBA in Marketing, Communications, English or Business. An exceptional writer - ability to take complex B2B concepts and turn them into clear, compelling and professional copy (be prepared to share writing samples). AI-Native: comfortable using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc) as a level for creativity and productivity in a professional setting. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace tools. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Preferred

    Familiarity with marketing tools like Eloqua, Google Analytics, or LinkedIn is a plus, but your ability to learn systems quickly is what matters most. Experience utilizing Gen AI for creation of messaging, development of productivity tools.
