Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Overall revenue generation and cost containment for the business operation
  • As a representative of the University/Conference, build and maintain relationships with local and regional businesses, campus community, and athletics department
  • Develop and implement an annual business plan to maximize revenue, exposure, and sponsor value
  • Manage expenses according to the annual budget
  • Oversee sponsorship fulfillment and execution, including direct client services for sponsor accounts
  • Serve as primary contact for current sponsors to extend and increase commitments
  • Report financial information for sales revenue and program operations
  • Plan and manage internal communications about corporate and University direction
  • Develop and maintain relationships with top University Administrators
  • Grow existing sponsor partnerships with the school
  • Prospect, schedule, and conduct discovery meetings with new businesses
  • Prepare PowerPoint proposals to illustrate partnership opportunities
  • Negotiate with new businesses to secure sponsors
  • Draft and coordinate agreements, managing information in the database
  • Fulfill agreement terms across platforms (TV, radio, websites, social, signage, print, newsletters, events)
  • Collaborate on sponsor activations and entertainment on game days
  • Capture proof of performance and provide sponsor-ready summaries
  • Update new business development activities in the CRM (Salesforce)
