Job Summary

Own the day-to-day social voice for entertainment brands, turning fan sentiment and timely trends into engaging, platform-native content and real-time engagement across key channels.

  • Own real-time social activation: monitor conversations, surface rising memes, and coordinate cross-team responses during premieres, launches, and live moments.
  • Collaborate to publish compelling content: support multi-account scheduling, calendar alignment, and asset/approval workflows while optimizing for each platform’s behavior.
  • Culture-aware storytelling: translate fandom behavior into timely content ideas, live coverage, and community insights to drive engagement and authenticity.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Act as an active voice for entertainment and media brands across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, and Threads
  • Engage directly with fans in a way that feels timely, authentic, and aligned to each project’s tone and fandom
  • Monitor social conversations, trends, comments, tags, and DMs during active campaign windows
  • Conduct regular page sweeps and surface notable community conversations or emerging fan sentiment to internal teams
  • Support live social coverage during premieres, events, launches, and major cultural moments
  • Assist with scheduling and publishing social content across multiple accounts
  • Ensure posts are accurately published according to approved calendars and platform specifications
  • Collaborate with producers, creatives, strategists, and designers to support social rollouts
  • Flag missing assets, approvals, or publishing needs proactively to maintain smooth workflows
  • Help optimize posts for platform-native performance and engagement

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media or community management, ideally within entertainment, streaming, gaming, music, or pop culture
  • Prior Agency experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of platform-native behavior across TikTok, Instagram, X, Threads, Reddit, YouTube, and emerging social spaces
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt to different brand voices quickly
  • Deep familiarity with internet culture, fandom behavior, memes, and digital conversation trends
  • Experience with social publishing and analytics tools such as Sprout and Meltwater, native platform tools, or similar
  • Ability to multitask across multiple campaigns and shifting priorities
  • Organized, collaborative, and proactive communicator
  • Comfortable working flexible hours during major launches, live events, or campaign moments
  • Passion for entertainment, storytelling, and social-first creative work
