Job Description

Responsibilities

  • OWN THE DEMAND ENGINE FOR A $1T CATEGORY.
  • Your job is to turn that advantage into a repeatable customer-acquisition machine. First in Dallas and Austin. Then a playbook for every major US market.
  • You will work side by side with the CEO to build the growth machine that compounds Vella's strong retention and unit economics.
  • You will have the authority of a founder and be deeply involved in setting the strategic direction of the company.
  • You start building & take the controls on day one.
  • By Day 14 → You own the numbers. You can walk me through the growth picture better than anyone in the company, including me: where demand comes from, what's working, what's broken, where the ceiling is, and which three bets compound fastest.
  • By Day 45 → The bets are live. The creative system is installed. The BD pipeline is operating. We have signal on which channels scale and which die. The weekly cadence produces decisions, not theater.
  • By Day 90 → At least one channel is scaled and producing attributable volume at better CAC and payback than today. One compounding loop (referral or partnership) is tracked and contributing. You've written the City Growth Playbook that future markets will run.
