Support artist PR campaigns and archival tasks as a part-time internship.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • You will be working with our team on various levels, including: artwork archiving, campaign development/brainstorming, pitch/headline writing, media list building, fine art gallery research/outreach, client management, social media strategies, community research, and more.
  • Able to commit to around 15-20 hours per week
  • Participate in at least one scheduled team call (via Google Meet) per week
  • Contribute actively in brainstorms for PR campaigns, activities and events
  • Learn how to archive and categorize artworks for individual artists
  • Learn how to research media contacts and create strategic media lists
  • Learn how to draft pitches and send pitches to journalists and editors
  • Learn how to manage engagement for clients’ social media

Requirements

  • Ideally located in Los Angeles, CA
  • Be interested in a career in any of the following: PR, fine art, branding, writing, or social media
  • Be keeping up-to-date and reading about the fine art scene (both traditional and new media art)
  • Be organized, methodical, and able to prioritize tasks
  • Be a self-starter, entrepreneurial minded and driven
  • Ideally, have some writing experience
  • Experience in Photoshop/video editing is a plus
  • Experience managing social media account and content creation is a plus
