Job Description

Responsibilities

  • As the Field Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for researching, creating, developing and managing local partnerships, shows/events and field marketing efforts focused on lead generation and managing a team of field marketing representatives
  • Research, register for and coordinate local events, sponsorships, and canvassing locations to maximize sales leads/appointments generated in the field
  • Engage potential customers and schedule in-home consultations for replacement windows for Universal Windows Direct (UWD) local sales representatives
  • Recruit, hire, train and mentor field marketing teams that operate throughout the local area
  • Manage budgets to maximize Return on Investment (ROI) per event/show
  • Determine and set monthly, quarterly, and annual goals in partnership with your manager
  • Manage and approve payroll entries and updates and schedule your teams
  • Evaluate performance results to identify areas for improvement
  • Support Corporate Marketing functions where necessary

Requirements

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in field and events marketing, retail and/or outside sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to grasp software for lead generation and reporting, oversee budgets and develop reports, lead a team or teams of field marketers and demonstrate products and engage with potential customers
  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and have the ability to travel using a personal vehicle
  • Ability to work standard retail hours, including evenings and weekends
