Job Summary

Own event content and cross-channel messaging for TechCrunch events, from SEO articles and emails to social copy and partner materials, while keeping pages and campaigns aligned and data clean.

  • Editorial and Content Engine: produce SEO-friendly WordPress articles and partner messaging that meet editorial standards and boost event visibility.
  • Channel Execution: tailor emails, social posts, and landing pages to drive registrations and engagement across platforms.
  • Ops and Alignment: keep event pages current and maintain accurate marketing data and workflow automation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Event Editorial Content Support (TechCrunch.com) - Draft and format SEO-friendly articles in WordPress promoting TechCrunch events such as speaker announcements and agenda highlights.
  • Follow TechCrunch editorial standards and event marketing messaging
  • Implement SEO best practices (headlines, metadata, keyword usage, internal linking)
  • Revise drafts based on editor and stakeholder feedback
  • Event Email Marketing/Attendee Support (HubSpot) - Write and format event-focused marketing and attendee emails to drive registrations and attendee engagement
  • Execute edits, QA, and formatting updates based on campaign needs and brand style for targeted funnels
  • Social Media Copy Support (Events) - Write targeted social media posts and content series to promote event announcements, speakers, and key moments
  • Tailor messaging per platform (LinkedIn, X, etc.) to drive awareness and engagement
  • Adjust copy based on campaign performance and feedback
  • Event Marketing and Stakeholder Copy - Draft and refine messaging for partner promotions, speaker communications and materials, and partner media kits
  • Ensure all messaging supports event marketing goals and maintains consistency across channels
  • Website Content and Updates (Event-Focused) - Support updates to event website pages such as landing pages, event information pages, conversion/registration pages, and attendee portal content
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with current campaign messaging
  • Light Marketing Operations Support - Assist with basic operational tasks, including building or updating workflows, supporting automation via Zapier, generating registrant lists and performance reports, and maintaining marketing data accuracy
