Job Summary

Own the outreach engine for senior-focused education and community partnerships, balancing event logistics, venue relationships, and a steady externship pipeline.

Community Engagement: Own the calendar of 2–3 weekly presentations and 8–12 monthly sessions across senior-focused venues and clubs.
Partnership & Event Ops: Manage venue outreach, booth logistics, staffing, and post-event follow-ups to maintain a steady stream of opportunities.
Education Pipeline: Build relationships with Medical Assistant schools and externship coordinators to keep a continuous flow of externs and resolve scheduling issues.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Schedule 2–3 educational presentations every week (8–12 per month)
Presentation locations include Senior Centers, 55+ Communities, Retirement Communities, Churches, Rotary Clubs, Kiwanis Clubs, Lions Clubs, Libraries, HOAs, and organizations serving adults age 55+
Topics include peripheral neuropathy, Parkinson's disease, MS, ALS, chronic pain, arthritis, memory loss, balance problems, healthy aging, and acupuncture
Find opportunities, contact organizations, book and confirm dates, maintain relationships, and fill cancellations immediately
Senior Center Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships through regular follow-up, repeat scheduling, thank-you notes, and monthly communication
Community Event Coordination
Locate community events where seniors are actively involved, including city-sponsored events, senior gatherings, local festivals, Chamber of Commerce events, community celebrations, and nonprofit fundraising events serving seniors
Complete applications, reserve booth space, coordinate logistics, organize supplies, schedule staff, manage setup and breakdown, and follow up with organizers
Event Management

Requirements

Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license
Comfortable driving throughout Orange County
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office and Google Workspace proficiency
Event planning experience preferred
Marketing experience preferred
Healthcare experience is a plus
