Job Summary

Build and sustain community partnerships, events, and storytelling that connect youth and families with Encircle’s services and values.

  • Community Engagement: Develop relationships with schools, partners, and local stakeholders to raise awareness and drive referrals.
  • Content & Storytelling: Create mission-aligned content and collect stories, photos, and testimonials to illustrate impact.
  • Collaboration & Compliance: Coordinate with internal teams, maintain brand consistency, and ensure privacy and consent standards.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Build meaningful relationships with schools, youth-serving organizations, community partners, and local stakeholders to increase awareness of Encircle’s services and programs.
  • Represent Encircle at community events, outreach opportunities, and partnership initiatives to strengthen local visibility and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships that support referrals, collaboration opportunities, and community connection.
  • Support community engagement strategies that encourage participation in programs, events, and services.
  • Foster authentic connections with youth, families, volunteers, and community members in alignment with Encircle’s mission and values.
  • Create engaging and mission-aligned content that highlights programs, events, services, and the impact of the local Encircle home.
  • Capture photos, videos, stories, and day-to-day moments that strengthen community awareness and engagement.
  • Manage local social media channels through consistent posting, audience engagement, and community interaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content is timely, brand-aligned, and supportive of organizational campaigns and initiatives.
  • Design promotional materials and digital assets using approved templates and tools while following brand and safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or some college experience in communications, marketing, social work, or related fields is preferred but not required.
  • Fluency and excellent communication skills in Spanish (in addition to English) is preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of community outreach, engagement, and relationship-building practices.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms, digital communication, and audience engagement.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Google Workspace, and social media management tools.
  • Understanding of professional communication and customer service principles.
  • Awareness of LGBTQ+ affirming practices and youth-centered community support.
  • Basic understanding of branding, privacy, media release, and minor-safety expectations.
  • Familiarity with data entry, documentation, and tracking systems such as HubSpot or similar platforms.
  • Additional requirements may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
