Job Summary

Own multi-channel product data and marketplace operations, keeping listings, pricing, and inventory in sync across Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, Faire and others while surfacing trends to drive faster decisioning.

  • Product data ownership: maintain listings, pricing, and inventory across major platforms and ensure data integrity.
  • Operational analytics: run sales reports to surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Customer and content support: respond to inquiries, handle returns, document FAQs, and contribute to website copy and promotions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update product listings, pricing, and inventory data across Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, Faire, and other platforms
  • Run reports and analyze sales data to surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities
  • Manage backend database tasks including bulk product uploads, catalog updates, and data integrity checks using tools like Matrixify / flat-file imports
  • Coordinate with fulfillment and logistics partners to ensure accurate inventory and order flow
  • Monitor marketplace health metrics (Buy Box, suppressed listings, ad performance) and flag issues proactively
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries across email, Amazon Buyer Messages, Shopify contact forms, and other channels
  • Handle order issues, returns, and escalations with empathy and efficiency
  • Maintain positive seller ratings and reviews by delivering outstanding post-purchase support
  • Document common inquiries and help build a customer service knowledge base
  • Assist in creating and updating website content, product descriptions, and promotional copy

Requirements

  • Prior experience working in or with a small business — you understand the pace, flexibility, and ownership mindset that comes with it
  • Strong data skills — comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), exporting/importing structured data, and learning new platforms quickly
  • Experience with at least one major eCommerce platform (Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, or similar)
  • Excellent written communication skills — you can write a clear, friendly customer email and a compelling product description
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, especially when managing product data or juggling multiple tasks
  • Self-starter attitude — you don\'t wait to be told what to fix when you see something off

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with Shopify Admin, Amazon Seller Central, or Walmart Seller Center
  • Familiarity with wholesale platforms like Faire
  • Background in or strong interest in digital marketing, copywriting, or brand content
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar design tools
  • Comfort with tools like Asana, Google Workspace, and email marketing platforms
  • Experience in CPG, food & beverage, or consumer brands is a plus
