Job Summary

Own the online storefront and basic marketing touchpoints for a sports-focused retailer, blending site optimization, product catalog hygiene, social content creation, and on-site event support to drive online sales and brand engagement.

  • Website & E-Commerce: Own product pages, catalogs, pricing, inventory, and performance improvements to boost conversions.
  • Social & Content: Create and schedule cross-platform content, respond to followers, and track growth to lift engagement and reach.
  • Event & Operations: Prepare merchandise for events, support on-site sales, gather customer feedback, and optimize inventory for live occasions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Website & E-Commerce Management: Update website content, product listings, descriptions, pricing, and inventory.
  • Upload new products and maintain product catalogs.
  • Optimize product pages for customer experience and online sales.
  • Monitor website performance and suggest improvements.
  • Social Media & Marketing: Create and schedule social media content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X.
  • Develop engaging content that promotes products, events, and brand awareness.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries.
  • Track social media performance and recommend growth strategies.
  • Brand Development: Help maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity.
  • Assist with promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Deco Network, WooCommerce, or similar preferred).
  • Experience managing social media business accounts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Preferred

  • Photography, videography, or content creation experience is a plus.
  • Experience in sports, apparel, retail, or event-based businesses is preferred.
