• REPORTS TO: Communications Coordinator
• Working under the direction of the District Communications Coordinator, this position develops written, photographic, and video content for district communication platforms, assists with district-level communications projects, and helps ensure communications are timely, accurate, consistent, and aligned with the district's brand and strategic priorities.
• Research, plan, photograph/video, and prepare well-structured written and visual content to promote the school/department. Content must be approved by the Communications Coordinator or building/department supervisor prior to being posted on approved digital publishing platforms.
• Use school and district calendars to generate posts.
• Edit and proofread written pieces before publication.
• Promote content on social networks and monitor feedback/engagement (e.g. comments, concerns, and shares).

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Demonstrated and effective: communication with verbal and written skill, problem solving, decision-making, quick-thinking and strong attentional organization and details.
