Job Summary

Direct Schwabs AI Search Center of Excellence and strategy (AEO/SEO) to shape AI-driven answers and content, with a focus on leadership, measurement, and executive alignment.

  • Own the AI Search roadmap and Center of Excellence, including AEO/SEO strategy and measurements.
  • 5+ years in SEO/content marketing/digital strategy with AEO/GEO and AI curiosity.
  • Proven ability to lead high-velocity programs with executive accountability in emerging disciplines.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead an AI Search Center of Excellence; establish standards, best practices, and reporting, hiring and leading professionals on the team.
  • Own the AI Search roadmap and strategy (AEO/SEO), including priorities, experimentation, and measurement.
  • Track the AI search landscape (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, AI Overviews) and translate trends into action.
  • Partner with UX, Product, and Technology to improve AI readability/extractability (structured data, schema, content architecture).
  • Optimize and evolve Schwab’s educational content for zero-click/AI answer experiences (direct answers, FAQs, comparisons).
  • Educate and influence stakeholders through clear executive-ready communication, training, and enablement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in SEO/content marketing/digital strategy, with AEO/GEO experience, as well as avid curiosity of AI
  • Proven strategic leader, with deep abilities to set strategy, drive execution, and influence senior stakeholders
  • Experienced team and people leader, with 6+ years of people/team leadership, along with experience building new teams or functions
  • Proven ability to successfully lead high-velocity programs with senior-executive accountability in emerging disciplines with high ambiguity, and do so with insight, action and discipline
  • Well-rounded expertise in Search along with the proven ability to translate that expertise into business-driven Search strategies and roadmaps that resonate with senior leaders and provide clear guidance to teams and partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Communications, or related field
