Responsibilities

  • The Role: come join a highly collaborative team focused on enhancing the impact of marketing programs designed to reach and engage Fidelity’s institutional investor audience.
  • As Director, Institutional Segment Marketing, you will be a key member of the Institutional Client Group (ICG) segment marketing team, contributing in three primary ways: (1) partner with business and marketing leaders to define and execute annual marketing strategies aligned to key business priorities; (2) build deep expertise in the institutional investor landscape and serve as a strong advocate for segment priorities within the broader marketing organization; and (3) design and deliver integrated, omni-channel campaigns that promote relevant investment products and solutions to targeted client segments.
  • This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role offering the opportunity to work across multiple teams within Fidelity Institutional and Fidelity Asset Management, driving meaningful outcomes for the business.
  • The Director, Institutional Segment Marketing will manage several projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and coordinating with many internal stakeholders.
  • This role requires establishing ongoing working relationships with the sales team, relationship managers, marketing peers and cross-functional business partners to ensure successful, on time and on budget delivery of marketing programs.
  • In this role, you will: Develop and deliver marketing programs aligns with key business initiatives and goals.
  • Work with distribution team leaders, marketing peers, meetings and events, and other groups to optimize our industry event presence to get the most value from our sponsorship dollars.
  • Be a critical connection point with our client-facing teams, providing regular marketing updates.
  • Share trends and best practices to influence segment strategy, including industry and marketplace data.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or equivalent with 8-10 plus years of experience in marketing, strategy, or client engagement within asset management, financial services, or a related institutional environment (institutional investor market experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated experience leading integrated marketing strategies across content, paid media, email, digital, and events.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Ability to take initiative and operate effectively in a highly matrixed organization.
