Responsibilities
- Promote organizational excellence by fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement and accountability that values learning and a commitment to quality and impact.
- Design and develop community engagement initiatives that increase awareness across the community and service area.
- Oversee communication, marketing and advertising activities, outreach and event success, to ensure consistent messaging, strong community presence, measurable results, including effective implementation of literacy initiatives.
- Ensure all activities, including engagement, outreach, and community efforts are coordinated, efficient and aligned with organizational goals.
- Serve as the agency s community liaison for partnerships.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with the leadership team to support alignment and informed decision-making.
Requirements
- A bachelors degree in marketing or a related field from an accredited university/college.
- Minimum five years of supervisory experience.
- Minimum five years of previous marketing and/or community outreach experience.
- Task/Judgment Design, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of processes. Limited involvement with task execution.
- Independence/Expertise Acquire expertise in Florida law and rules that govern programs managed.
- Service/Initiative - Develop strategies for successful implementation of programs.
- Supervision Work independently and engage staff to work with limited supervision.
- Agency Growth Seek organizational growth opportunities and nurture community partnerships.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a non-profit or governmental organization.
