Job Summary

Own and drive Miracle Flights' integrated communications for the Impact Division, shaping campaigns, media relations, storytelling, and external engagements to advance strategic priorities.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated annual communications plans, campaign priorities, and performance measures that advance the Impact Division's strategic priorities.
  • Translate organizational priorities into integrated communications initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent messaging, brand standards, and storytelling across all communications.
  • Advise the Chief of Impact on communications opportunities, trends, and emerging issues.
  • Continuously improve communications processes and operational effectiveness.
  • Develop, distribute, and follow up on press releases, media pitches, advisories, and other media materials.
  • Identify, pitch, and secure earned media opportunities that advance Miracle Flights' mission and strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate media interviews, media logistics, and spokesperson preparation.
  • Identify and pursue earned media opportunities that elevate Miracle Flights' mission.
  • Monitor media coverage, maintain media tracking, and recommend proactive public relations opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or brand management.
  • Experience leading integrated communications and media relations initiatives.
  • Experience managing digital communications and content strategy.
  • Nonprofit or mission-driven communications experience preferred.
