Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Partner with CEO and senior leadership to develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy aligned with the Association’s strategic plan.
  • Develop and maintain consistent messaging aligned with the Association’s mission and brand.
  • Support development of short- and long-term marketing initiatives.
  • Provide reporting and insights to inform strategy and improve results.
  • Lead brand and product marketing efforts to strengthen organizational visibility and positioning.
  • Oversee media and public information programs to ensure consistent, accurate messaging.
  • Produce and update marketing materials, including digital and website content.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain website content in coordination with developers.
  • Manage social media strategy, including: Monthly content calendar development; High-frequency posting (daily across all platforms); Real-time monitoring and audience engagement; Escalation and response to sensitive or inappropriate content; Content curation and amplification from industry sources

Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn new software and membership database systems.
  • Strong general computer skills, including data entry and database management.
  • Ability to engage and relate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities.
  • Multimedia background essential including videography and editing.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, or a combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, membership, or a related administrative field preferred.
  • Experience in nonprofit, association, or member-based environments is a plus.
