Job Description

Responsibilities Manages athletic statistics and reporting for all 17 varsity sports, including timely submission of game results and statistics to the CACC, NCAA, and the University’s official athletics website.
Develops and distributes athletic communications content, including feature stories, news releases, and social media posts, ensuring accuracy, adherence to the University Style Guide, and positive visibility for University athletics.
Serves as the primary media relations contact by maintaining media lists, responding to information requests from local, regional, national, and league affiliates, and fostering strong relationships with sports, trade, and general media outlets.
Oversees game-day and event communications operations by attending selected home and away contests, supervising student workers, and supporting athletic communications and game management functions.
Collaborates with University Marketing & Communications, Public Relations, and other campus partners on institutional initiatives, special events, and announcements, and represents the department on campus committees and conference or NCAA working groups as assigned
