Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage visual identities for Xbox Game Studios global marketing materials on Steam and PlayStation digital stores.
  • Partner with Product Marketing leads, Business Planners, external Studio stakeholders to plan strategic promotions across Xbox Game Studios games on Steam and PlayStation and manage collateral approvals.
  • Monitor and analyze Steam, PlayStation Store and platform navigation traffic to make actionable optimization recommendations to Xbox Game Studios Product Marketing leads.
  • Manage and update the Xbox Game Studios publisher profile Steam page and amplify announcements across the Xbox portfolio.
  • Document proof of marketing execution across PlayStation, Nintendo, and Steam.
  • Implement best practices for back catalogue Steam product pages.
  • Ensure consistency across all platforms and studios.

Requirements

  • A passion for video games, with proven experience in the gaming industry and/or particularly knowledgeable about PC, console, and gaming trends.
  • Strong project leader with 5+ years in marketing, and/or product launch experience, with or for an agency or in-house team, preferably in gaming, technology, or entertainment industries.
  • Direct experience managing digital storefronts – specifically Steam and PlayStation Store – including merchandising, and promotional planning.
  • Proven experience developing and managing the lifecycle of promotional marketing assets for digital storefronts.
  • In-depth understanding of the technical execution and specs for digital and web channels.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues early and provide solutions quickly.
  • Critical time management skills for all owned tasks including management of timelines/deliverables for others.
  • Proven ability to break down complex ideas and convey them succinctly.
  • Proven experience in responding and rapidly adapting to changing business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI, etc.)

  • Highly motivated with a passion for innovation.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent collaboration, and client service abilities.
  • A self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal follow up.
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to exceed personal goals and client expectations.
  • Ability to work successfully in ambiguous environments.
