Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic, multimedia marketing and communication plans for Town-wide and individual department programs.
• Administer Content Management Systems (CMS) to update, optimize, and maintain the Town’s public-facing web landscape.
• Manage primary social media profiles and email platforms to distribute news, safety alerts, and community updates.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to generate script outlines and storyboards supporting video and podcast productions.
• Ensure all assets strictly comply with municipal branding and modern web accessibility standards.
• Linking 20+ department pages into a central platform to streamline approval workflows and enhance digital security.
• Shifting from "just posting on social media" to tracking KPIs and SEO to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Providing advisement and training to staff throughout the organization.
• Partnering with our video specialist to script and concept creative campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in strategic digital marketing, social media management, or multimedia storytelling
• High proficiency with website CMS tools, email marketing engines, digital analytics, and professional photography a plus
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a valid motor vehicle operator's license

Preferred

• Experience with SEO and analytics
• Professional photography experience (bonus)
