Job Summary

Own multimedia storytelling for a community outreach org by capturing events, producing social content, and ensuring brand-aligned visuals while staying current on trends and analytics.

  • Content Capture & Publishing: Own end-to-end photo and video creation for events and social media from capture to publish.
  • Social Presence & Analytics: Manage channels, monitor engagement, and report monthly dashboards to leadership.
  • Story Discovery & Brand Execution: Work with program staff to surface stories and deliver assets that meet brand standards.

Job Description

  • Capture professional photography and videography at organizational programs, events, and community activities.
  • Plan, record, edit, and publish video and photo content for social media, website, print publications, media distribution, and presentations.
  • Edit photos and videos to align with Crosslines’ brand standards.
  • Organize and maintain digital photo and video libraries.
  • Brainstorm, pitch, and execute social media content and maintain a consistent publishing schedule.
  • Manage Crosslines’ social media platforms by scheduling, publishing, and monitoring content.
  • Engage professionally with followers by responding to comments and messages when appropriate.
  • Stay informed on current social media trends and platform best practices.
  • Monitor social media performance and engagement metrics.
  • Report social media analytics to the organization through monthly dashboards, executive leadership inquiries, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, electronic media, videography or a related field.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, internships, freelance experience, and demonstrated skills will be considered.
  • Experience creating engaging digital content through photography and videography.
  • Working knowledge of the complete video production process, including planning, recording, editing, and publishing.
  • Proficiency with professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics.
  • A portfolio demonstrating photography, videography, and editing experience is strongly preferred.
  • After Effects is a plus.
  • Experience with social media analytics dashboards and reporting is a plus.
  • Flexible scheduling options: typical Monday through Friday schedule with five eight-hour days or a modified schedule with four nine-hour days and a half-day on Fridays.
  • Occasionally, work-related needs may require different schedules, including evening or weekend hours. Supervisors will regularly discuss schedules to ensure coverage of needs, and employees must always obtain prior approval from their supervisor to change their schedule.
