Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day management of the Fine Arts Center's social media presence, including planning, scheduling, and posting content.
  • Create engaging, audience-centered content that supports ticket sales, attendance, and community awareness.
  • Coordinate content collection (photos, short-form video, behind-the-scenes, artist highlights, patron experiences).
  • Support social media management for Viterbo's flagship channels as assigned, in alignment with institutional priorities.
  • Maintain and update Fine Arts Center website content, including event pages, show descriptions, and key promotional materials.
  • Coordinate the development of show programs and digital publications using established templates and systems.
  • Ensure content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with Viterbo brand standards and follows all contractual agreements in collaboration with the Communications Strategist.
  • Assist with placing FAC events on relevant community calendars and promotional listings.
  • Create and edit digital marketing assets including graphics, photography, video clips, and promotional materials for web and social channels.
  • Support the development of reusable templates and streamlined workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications colleagues to ensure FAC materials align with university-wide brand identity.
  • Assist the Marketing and Communications Director in placing, monitoring, and reporting on digital advertising across platforms such as Meta, Google, streaming/radio, and other digital placements.
  • Support campaign reporting and performance tracking to inform future strategy.
  • In cooperation with the Marketing and Communications Director, coordinate with internal partners to ensure campaigns are launched on time and meet goals.
  • Serve as a positive, flexible partner to the Fine Arts Center team and Marketing & Communications colleagues.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with campus partners, artists, and external vendors when needed.
  • Support a collaborative work environment and contribute to a high level of professionalism and service.
  • Other duties as assigned in support of the Fine Arts Center and Marketing & Communications goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, graphic design, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, social media, web content management, or communications.
  • Demonstrated experience creating digital content for social media and web platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to tailor tone for different audiences.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (or comparable tools) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred

  • Experience working in the performing arts, higher education, or a mission-driven organization.
  • Experience with digital ad placement and reporting.
  • Experience with website content management systems (CMS).
  • Basic photography and video editing skills.
