Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a consistent content calendar aligned with company priorities
  • Draft and publish executive-level content (LinkedIn posts, announcements, thought leadership)
  • Translate leadership input into polished, on-brand messaging
  • Ensure all content reflects Vision IT's voice
  • Manage and grow Vision IT's digital presence (primarily LinkedIn)
  • Execute a consistent posting cadence (2–3 posts per week)
  • Monitor engagement and optimize content performance
  • Support employer branding and recruiting visibility
  • Maintain and update website content to reflect current capabilities, contracts, and messaging
  • Ensure alignment with brand positioning and strategic priorities

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or brand management preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience supported by certifications and a strong portfolio.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills (required)
  • Experience managing social media platforms for a business or brand
  • Proficiency with design tools (Canva required; Adobe Creative Suite preferred)
  • Experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow)
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal oversight

Preferred

  • Experience supporting a government contractor or professional services firm
  • Experience creating executive-level communications
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn branding and thought leadership strategies
  • Understanding of IT, cybersecurity, or federal contracting environments
