Job Summary

Own the donor-driven digital fundraising engine with end-to-end ownership of campaigns, assets, and targeting that move donors from first gift to long-term support.

  • Campaign Operations: Plan and execute digital fundraising campaigns including Giving Tuesday and year-end appeals.
  • Audience & Messaging: Build segments and donor journeys with personalized emails and stewardship content.
  • Channel Execution: Design paid ads, grow social engagement, and optimize the website for donor conversion while tracking performance.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and manage digital fundraising campaigns, including Giving Tuesday, year-end appeals, monthly giving.
  • Create campaign assets (landing pages, donation forms, graphics, copy, etc.) in collaboration with Digital Media Manager.
  • Coordinate peer-to-peer and crowdfunding initiatives; support fundraiser toolkits and stewardship.
  • Own fundraising email calendar, copy, design, testing, deliverability, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Development team to maintain accurate donor data, campaign tracking, and integration between CRM and digital platforms.
  • Build segmented donor lists and workflows to deliver personalized and targeted messaging (Welcome, Upgrade, Reactivation, Retention).
  • Collaborate with Development team to integrate stewardship content (thank you messages, impact updates, recognition) to cultivate and build support with long-term donors.
  • Develop and execute strategies for leveraging social media platforms to engage donors and promote fundraising campaigns.
  • Design and implement paid digital advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads to expand reach and drive conversions.
  • Optimize the organization’s website for donor engagement and online giving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital fundraising, marketing, or a related role, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Proficiency with digital tools, including email marketing platforms, donor management systems, online giving tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with an ability to craft compelling donor-centric content.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and act on campaign performance metrics.
  • Basic design/editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud) for content production.
