Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The WALB Digital Content Manager is responsible for content on multiple digital platforms, including web, social media, and livestreaming.
  • This role is not for a beginner - you must know social media algorithms and understand how to adjust strategies to them.
  • You must work closely with newsroom leadership to implement engaging content plans.
  • You must also have great newsroom judgment and understand that, as a manager, you will have a flexible schedule.

Requirements

  • Education background in either journalism or communications.
  • Must have at least 2 years as a digital producer in a newsroom.

Preferred

  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
