Responsibilities

  • Overview: This role uses data to inform content priorities and performance, evaluating, optimizing, and governing content across channels.
  • Responsibilities include performing content audits and inventories, analyzing analytics and user insights to identify gaps and opportunities, and optimizing content for relevance, usability, accessibility, SEO, and brand alignment.
  • Working autonomously on moderately complex initiatives, this role partners with clinical, product, marketing, legal, and technology teams to support enterprise content governance across the content supply chain, store and retrieve content, and produce and manage multiple content types.
  • In addition to the responsibilities listed above, this position is also responsible for contributing to the planning, creation, and editing of digital content for digital experiences across channels by determining and executing the generation and documentation of digital content (e.g., editorial, educational, videos, icons, illustrations, infographics) for KP products, applications, and architectures; enacting strategies when applying KP brand standards, KP editorial style, Associate Press style, legal requirements, accessibility, and web and application user interface (UI) best practices to moderately complex digital content development, and mentors others; collaborating with internal stakeholders (e.g., clinical, legal, regulatory, marketing, business/product) to convert key messages into approved content for distribution, with review upon completion; and applying advanced knowledge when developing creative brief templates and consulting with moderate impact clients to create the agreed upon deliverable.
  • Promotes learning in others by proactively providing and/or developing information, resources, advice, and expertise with coworkers and members; builds relationships with cross-functional/external stakeholders and customers.
  • Completes work assignments autonomously and supports business-specific projects by applying expertise in subject area and business knowledge to generate creative solutions; collaborates cross-functionally to achieve effective business decisions and solves complex problems.
  • Contributes to digital content governance efforts by independently synthesizing content for documenting and evolving the enterprise content standards and best practices; guiding others to integrate processes, resources, and interactions needed to develop and maintain digital content throughout the content lifecycle.
  • Supports efforts to manage content lifecycle and deliver efficient and scalable digital content experiences by executing and improving content strategies, performing analyses on content performance data, and organizing content audits and journey maps to inform decisions.
  • Facilitates the digital production of content by applying advanced strategies when building, creating, managing, releasing, and publishing content within CMSs; independently executing workflow tasks and coordinating with engineering and content teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • Bachelors degree in several fields AND minimum five (5) years of experience in User Experience, Content Management, Technical Architecture, CMS Engineering, or related field OR minimum eight (8) years of experience in UX, Content Management, Project Management, Technical Architecture, CMS Engineering or related field.
