Job Summary

Own the long-horizon marketing measurement program, shaping MMM/MTA, causal inference, and experimentation to drive cross‑unit growth strategy and ROI, with a data science‑led stance across Marketing, Growth, and Finance.

  • Growth Measurement & Roadmaps: Define 2–3 year measurement roadmap; establish metrics/frameworks that guide budget allocation.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Mentorship: Translate insights for C-suite, mentor junior data scientists, elevate statistical rigor across projects.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define the 2–3 year technical roadmap for marketing measurement, establishing key metrics and frameworks that guide budget allocation.
  • Build and refine Media Mix Models (MMM) and Multi‑Touch Attribution (MTA) systems to quantify marketing effectiveness and optimize ROI.
  • Design unified frameworks to enhance both B2B and B2C growth initiatives, leveraging synergies between brand awareness and engagement.
  • Lead the development of complex experimental designs, including incrementality testing and geo-holdout experiments, to measure long-term brand impact.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Growth, and Finance teams to translate data insights into strategic budget decisions and marketing tactics.
  • Mentor junior data scientists, setting technical standards and ensuring statistical rigor across projects.
  • Stay at the forefront of causal inference methodologies and advanced statistical techniques to continually improve measurement accuracy.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • For M.S. holders: 10+ years of industry experience in marketing science, growth data science, or econometrics.
  • For Ph.D. holders: 6+ years of industry experience.
  • Deep understanding of the marketing ecosystem, including hands-on experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Incrementality Testing, and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) prediction.
  • Proficiency in Python or R and SQL, with experience building production-grade data pipelines and applying machine learning techniques for predictive modeling.
  • Proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and translate complex statistical concepts into strategic business insights.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, and building frameworks from the ground up.
