Job Description
Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership & Vision: establish and maintain the creative direction for all storytelling visual and audio projects.
- Translate the nonprofit’s mission into emotionally resonant stories, visuals, and campaigns.
- Ensure consistency across all visual art, video, and promotional content.
- Develop Storytelling Art Style Guidelines and Visual Narrative Development.
- Shape how real experiences and fictional stories are presented to reflect Deliverance Charities’ values.
- Manage Creative Production and oversee illustrators, designers, music producers, and digital creators and ads.
- Review drafts, artwork, scenes, and scripts for quality, tone, and alignment.
- Provide clear direction, creative briefs, and feedback to keep projects on track.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to produce content: digital illustrations, scene-based marketing visuals, short videos, etc.
- Adapt and convert stories into promotional materials and social media visuals.
Requirements
- Experience leading creative teams;
- Strong storytelling and visual/audio content development abilities;
- Project management skills;
- Ability to work remotely and self-directed;
- Proficiency with collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Gmail, Chat, Spaces)
Preferred
- Experience with book series storytelling; nonprofit sector experience; graphic design/illustration/music production
