Job Summary

Own and shape executive communications across internal and external channels, aligning leadership messaging with strategy, brand, and culture to drive visibility, engagement, and reputation.

  • Executive Messaging: Craft speeches, talking points, and leadership communications for the President and ELT; provide strategic counsel and crisis-ready messaging as needed.
  • Content & Channel Orchestration: Coordinate internal and external content across intranet, newsletters, social, articles, town halls, and thought leadership to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Strategic Influence: Build a firmwide communications calendar, collaborate with HR and ops, and elevate Ardmore Roderick’s brand through governance, change management, and external PR partnerships.

Job Description

Responsibilities

- Partner with the President and Executive Leadership Team to develop speeches, presentations, talking points, executive messages, and leadership communications - Provide strategic communications counsel to executive leadership - Ensure consistency of executive messaging across all communication channels - Support executive visibility through thought leadership, articles, social media, and speaking engagements - Develop and execute firmwide internal communication strategies that foster employee engagement and alignment - Lead communications for strategic initiatives, town halls, employee meetings, and organizational announcements - Create content for the intranet, newsletters, emails, videos, and internal campaigns - Partner with Human Resources and business leaders on employee communications - Develop corporate communications that strengthen Ardmore Roderick's brand and reputation - Write and edit project stories, website content, newsletters, and award submissions - Collaborate with external public relations partners - Identify opportunities to elevate the firm's thought leadership and market presence - Develop an annual communications calendar aligned with strategic business priorities - Ensure messaging reflects the firm's vision, values, and brand standards - Manage editorial planning across internal and external communication channels - Support change management communications for firmwide initiatives - Partner with Human Resources, Operations, and executive leadership to support strategic initiatives - Support crisis communications and time sensitive executive messaging as needed

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field - 5 to 8+ years of corporate communications, public relations, or executive communications experience - Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities - Experience supporting executive leadership communications - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office - The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator who can anticipate communication needs, build trusted relationships with executive leadership, and translate complex initiatives into clear, compelling messages.
