Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit high-quality, engaging, and brand-building content across various formats, including websites, collateral, press releases, social media, videos, and articles
  • Contribute to social media strategy execution with a focus on follower growth and engagement
  • Support the employer branding initiative, including the execution of employee spotlights and educational social media campaigns
  • Assist with media monitoring and reporting on any industry trends/news
  • Complete a summer-long, multi-phase project in a defined area of corporate communications, which will involve research and analysis, content development and gathering, strategy brainstorming, and a final presentation of findings and recommendations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for storytelling
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with new AI technologies and how they can be leveraged to improve workflows and drive productivity
  • Ability to work remotely, independently, and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in AP Style writing is a plus

Preferred

  • Experience using Canva to create visually engaging videos and graphics with a focus on brand consistency and storytelling is a bonus
  • Proficiency in AP Style writing is a plus
