Job Summary

Drive content and social media for Austin AI Hub by creating posts, drafting blogs, and managing newsletters while tracking performance.

Own weekly content calendar: 3-5 social posts, biweekly blog drafts, and a newsletter.
Must-have: Strong writing and ability to adapt tone for multiple platforms.
Standout: Experience with newsletter tools (Brevo, Mailchimp) or Canva.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Create and schedule 3-5 social media posts per week .
Write blog post drafts (biweekly) on topics like AI education, and community spotlights
Build and send the Austin AI Hub newsletter (frequency TBD, likely biweekly or monthly)
Create post-event content: photo recaps, quote cards, highlight threads from workshops and networking events
Track content performance and share insights on what is working
Collaborate with the Design Intern on visual assets for posts and campaigns

Requirements

Strong writing skills: you can write clearly and adapt tone for different platforms
Familiarity with social media platforms (especially X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube)
Self-starter who can manage a content calendar and meet deadlines independently
Interest in AI, technology, or nonprofit work (you do not need to be technical)

Preferred

Bonus: experience with newsletter tools (Brevo, Mailchimp), Canva, or basic analytics
