Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and execution of all NIL content including multimedia, podcasts, live streams, and more across multiple digital platforms
  • Collaborate with athletic department and sponsors to deliver content aligned with voice, tone, and brand objectives
  • Develop NIL content best practices across creative, production, distribution, and student athlete relations
  • Generate ideas for brand integration NIL video series for local and national sales and attend client pitches as needed
  • Build trust with student athletes and set them up for success across all NIL executions
  • Assist in Learfield live-action shoots and other revenue-driving social activations as needed
  • Contribute to research, pre-production, production, post-production, distribution, and analysis for NIL content
  • Act as a liaison between the athletic department content team, Learfield sales teams, and national sales
  • Use data and trends to develop Learfield Studios NIL content strategy
  • Serve as an on-campus resource for student athletes and share best practices across content creation
  • Create pre-sale content presentations with estimated performance, distribution strategy, and creative synopsis
  • Track, analyze, and present performance recaps to partners, sales, and leadership
  • Lead distribution kick-off calls and manage distribution through end of series with insights shared to stakeholders

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in sports or entertainment, focusing on creating, writing, producing, directing, and editing video content
  • Advanced proficiency in graphic and motion design, photography, and video production/editing across formats using Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Proven ability to collaborate with content creators, partners, and stakeholders to deliver engaging content that drives results
  • Experience producing content for multiple social platforms with understanding of platform best practices
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of major and emerging social platforms and their communities
  • Excellent communication skills to present concepts and strategies to leadership
  • Ability to generate innovative ideas aligned with goals and initiatives
  • Strong administrative, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, efficient, and detail oriented
  • Demonstrates integrity and adherence to Learfield, university, conference, and NCAA rules

Preferred

  • Prior experience in the sports industry, preferably within college athletics
