Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Partner with firm leadership and key stakeholders to understand business priorities and initiatives, and develop a content strategy that reflects IFP’s voice and goals
  • Build and manage a content calendar across all channels — including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Substack, YouTube Shorts, and email — and proactively recommend new platforms and distribution strategies suited to our financial advisor audience
  • Produce original thought leadership content including articles, social posts, newsletters, white papers, and Substack editions for both the firm and advisor audiences
  • Ghostwrite on behalf of firm executives and advisors, capturing their voice and perspective authentically
  • Collaborate with the IFP Design Group team to brainstorm content ideas, align on campaigns, and ensure a cohesive brand voice across all channels
  • Concept, script, film, and edit video content including talking-head videos, explainers, event recaps, and YouTube Shorts / social reels
  • Build, format, and schedule email campaigns in Mailchimp, including newsletters, event announcements, and nurture sequences
  • Collaborate with compliance to ensure all content is reviewed and approved prior to distribution, in accordance with FINRA/SEC guidelines
  • Monitor content performance metrics and use data to continuously improve strategy and execution
