Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Edit attorney-authored content for clarity, readability, and brand voice.
  • Optimize each piece for search, including title tags, meta descriptions, header structure, keyword placement, and internal linking.
  • Publish content on WordPress, handling all formatting, image placement, and taxonomy.
  • Manage the editorial calendar in our project management system, track attorney assignments, and keep production on schedule.
  • Prepare and send our biweekly newsletter in Mailchimp.
  • Monitor basic performance metrics and flag opportunities to update or consolidate existing content.

Requirements

  • Strong editorial judgment is the core requirement.
  • Working knowledge of on-page SEO is required. The successful candidate does not need to be a technical SEO specialist but should understand how search works and how to optimize content.
  • WordPress proficiency to post blogs and content is required.
  • Mailchimp familiarity.
  • Prior experience in a professional services, legal, or healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
