Job Summary

Coordinate social community management by combining publishing discipline, real-time engagement, and culturally relevant content to drive authentic audience interactions while working with cross-functional teams to protect brand voice.

  • Own publishing workflow and calendar coordination to ensure timely, on-brand content.
  • Monitor, respond to, and escalate audience comments across major platforms and manage crisis response when needed.
  • Collaborate with analysts and planners to translate community data into actionable strategy for client programs.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong understanding of social platforms and how communities engage on social to help support the social team with the creation of more engaging content
  • Contribute to unplanned/opportunistic culturally and community-relevant content
  • Supports community first tactics including proactive & reactive engagements, S&D, real-time, influencer coordination, and UGC
  • Manage and own the content publishing process; scheduling, coordination of complex content calendars, QC of live posts
  • Interact with client teams including marketing and operations regularly
  • Support building social and creative briefs and coordinate with interdisciplinary team to prepare well informed community management strategies around cultural moments
  • Be able to successfully navigate crisis communication execution as needed
  • Monitor social media platforms and respond to and escalate audience comments as need (this could include, but is not limited to: Facebook, Threads, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, X, and YouTube)
  • Collaborate with analysts and media planners to report on channel results – community specific data
  • Keep up to date and provide recommendations on cultural events, news stories, social trends that may impact audience interaction with our clients’ brands

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in social marketing and/or community management
  • Experience with leveraging social publishing tools/platforms (such as Brandwatch, Khoros, Sprinklr, etc.)
  • Experience and confidence as a social and community copywriter
  • Growth mindset to learn the client’s business and start to be able to connect business challenges with community strategies/tactics
  • Ability to work effectively, proactively, and seamlessly amongst an integrated agency team
  • Superior communication, organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical skills and spreadsheet capabilities to be able to track/share out community-based insights
  • Client-facing experience with a comfort level for engaging with key senior decision-makers from both the client and agency sides
