Job Summary

Own on-the-ground outreach to East San Diego families and providers to fill the ABA caseload.

  • Community Outreach & Partnerships: visit pediatric and private schools, autism groups, and social workers to introduce United ABA.
  • Referral & Lead Management: follow up within 24 hours and track sources weekly to report to leadership.
  • Directory & Local Ecosystem: manage provider listings and build a sustainable local presence with healthcare and HR touchpoints.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Visit pediatrician offices in El Cajon, Santee, La Mesa, Lakeside and Jamul and build relationships with doctors and office managers.
  • Call and visit EFMP coordinators at Camp Pendleton, MCAS Miramar and Naval Base San Diego to connect military families with our Tricare-accepted services.
  • Contact HR departments at large East San Diego employers including Sharp Healthcare, Grossmont Hospital and school districts asking to be listed as an ABA resource for employees.
  • Attend autism parent support groups monthly and introduce United ABA to families.
  • Visit private schools and special education departments in East County.
  • Manage all provider directory listings including Beaming Health, ABA Navigator, Google Business Profile and Autism Speaks.
  • Follow up with every incoming lead within 24 hours.
  • Track all referral sources weekly and report to owner every Friday.
  • Attend community events including autism walks, health fairs and school events.
  • Build relationships with Rady Children’s social workers and CPCMG care coordinators

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, public health, education or related field.
  • Two or more years experience in healthcare outreach, community health or special needs services.
  • Knowledge of East San Diego autism and special needs community preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • Valid CA drivers license and reliable vehicle with clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.

Preferred

  • Former Regional Center case manager or Autism Society employee strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a strong plus as many East County families are Spanish speaking.
