Job Summary

Own and scale Omada's community voice across Reddit and Discord, driving campaigns, content programs, and contributor relationships while turning user feedback into continuous product improvements.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the user operations team to plan and execute community campaigns, AMAs, contests, and product launch activities
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of Omada's Reddit community and Discord, with potential expansion to Facebook Groups and other platforms
  • Plan and publish recurring content, including discussions, setup showcases, polls, user stories, and product-related topics
  • Engage with community members, encourage meaningful conversations, and build an active, welcoming community culture
  • Identify and develop core contributors through recognition programs, user roles, and long-term relationship building
  • Track the right signals for each platform (community growth and content performance on Reddit, engagement and relationship depth on Discord) and turn user feedback into continuous improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, required
  • Exceptional writing skills with a natural voice that reads as authentic to a technical, marketing-skeptical audience
  • Familiarity with Reddit culture and an understanding of how different community platforms operate
  • Understands the ethics of authentic community participation (transparency, disclosure, and no manipulation) and knows that credibility, not reach, is what earns a technical community's trust
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable building programs in a fast-paced environment
  • Genuine interest in community engagement, user relationships, and technology products
  • Strong logical thinking and consistently approaches problems from the user's perspective

Preferred

  • Experience managing Reddit, Facebook Groups, Discord, forums, or other online communities
  • Interest in networking, Wi-Fi, homelabs, smart home, or B2B technology
  • Experience planning community content, campaigns, AMAs, contests, or user recognition programs
  • Basic understanding of community metrics, engagement analysis, and performance reporting
  • Enjoys discussing network setups, product experiences, and deployment best practices with tech enthusiasts
