Job Summary

Own community engagement and partnerships to support student outcomes, with emphasis on parental involvement, cultural inclusion, and resource development.

  • Community Partnerships: Establish formal and informal partnerships with local and migrant-serving organizations to broaden resources.
  • Family & Parent Engagement: Develop strategies to improve parent involvement and coordinate advocacy with the school and families.
  • Outreach & Cultural Inclusion: Initiate culturally and linguistically appropriate outreach to diverse families and coordinate events that celebrate international heritage.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities: Initiate and develop a marketing plan for the school newsletter and brochures.
  • Responsibilities: Establish formal/informal partnerships with community and corporate agencies.
  • Responsibilities: Initiate community outreach using appropriate cultural and linguistic strategies.
  • Responsibilities: Coordinate events and celebrations including culturally diverse activities that affirm the international heritage of all students and their families.
  • Responsibilities: Develop strategies to ensure parent and family involvement in the school.
  • Responsibilities: Assist in the coordination of parent/community advocacy and support for the school.
  • Responsibilities: Make phone contact with students' parents/guardians.
  • Responsibilities: Identify resources collaborators/speakers to facilitate dialogues and presentations for the student body.
  • Responsibilities: Initiate and develop corporate partnerships that will provide additional financial and programmatic resources for the school.
