Job Summary

Drive a nonprofit website accessibility and content optimization internship for the Adaptive Climbers Festival.

  • Own reviewing and improving the ACF site structure, layout, and content

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and improving ACF’s current website structure, layout, and content
  • Helping implement WCAG-aligned accessibility best practices
  • Supporting content updates and recommendations that prioritize clarity, inclusion, and usability
  • Collaborating across teams to ensure the site reflects ACF’s mission, values, and community
  • Scheduling and updating regular outbound communications regarding registration, clinics, packing lists, and other vital information for participants
  • Assisting volunteers and event organizers at the info booth during the 2026 Adaptive Climbers Festival
  • Learning how nonprofit communications, fundraising, and accessibility intersect in real projects

Requirements

  • Interest in web design, UX, accessibility, communications, and digital storytelling
  • Familiarity with basic web platforms (Squarespace, WordPress, or similar) is a plus
  • Passion for inclusion, adaptive sports, and community-centered design
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team
  • Members of the disability community are especially encouraged to apply
  • Must attend the Adaptive Climbers Festival. Travel scholarship funds could be available to support.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with basic web platforms (Squarespace, WordPress, or similar) is a plus
